AVFA had been inactive for several years when in August 2025, the remaining and only officers of the society decided that since there has been no interest of anyone else in the business of the society, that registration with the N.S. Joint Stocks would not be renewed and the society disbanded.  Flight 147 of COPA is also defunct.  The domain name for this website will expire January 2026 and the URL for this site will no longer work.  The information and images of the site will continue to exist as archival material and will be accessible in a link on the freeedomaviation.ca website. 

EAA1051 (Scotia Eagles) has also disbanded and given up chapter status with EAA international.
