Throughout Nova Scotia there are small cleared strips that are or have been used for aircraft take off and landing. Many are now not maintained but you can see them from the air. This list is only for interest purpose and not for actual use.

If you know of an airstrip not listed and would like it on the map please send the coordinates or detailed description to admin@avfa.ca . Google maps are very useful getting information (coordinates and appearances). The map here is done with Google maps. They may not be visible at the scale of the map shown, but zoom in and pan and the strip will be shown as a colored rectangle covering the strip. Click on the rectangle for a label and information.
